Bios

• Manisha

  My husband and I are parents of two children and recognize the importance of a safe and nurturing learning environment. I am happy to be able to provide Goddard's outstanding program to the children in the community. I have earned my Bachelor's Degree in Home Science from S.N.D.T University of Mumbai with a major in Textiles and Clothing and minor in a number of fields including Early Childhood Development. Also, I have earned the State of Maryland Certification in Early Childhood Development. My experience with children comes from having children of my own, operating my own childcare business in my home for over a decade. I am excited and proud to be a part of The Goddard School and am committed to providing the highest quality preschool experience for the children in the neighborhood.

• Carin

  Ms. Carin is our Director of Operations and has been at The Goddard School of Gambrills for over 2 years. She started as a part-time teacher in our preschool and school-age program and created and implemented our 2020 STEAM based summer program. She was previously employed as a Special Education/Behavior Support Technician for Anne Arundel County Public Schools. She has an B.S. in Psychology and an M.S. in Applied Behavior Analysis and has many years of experience working with children in early childhood education, primary and intermediate schools, and special education. Ms. Carin has two daughters and loves to read, write, cook, be outdoors, and spend time with family and friends.

• Kelly

  Ms. Kelly’s goal at The Goddard School is to provide a positive environment for children, parents and coworkers. She is currently working towards getting her Degree in Business Management & has her 90-hour preschool and 45-hour infant/toddler certifications. Her favorite children’s book is The Day the Crayons Quit. Her favorite children’s song is “Can’t stop the Feeling.”

• Saudhi

  Ms. Saudhi is thrilled to be working here at The Goddard School. She attended Bowie State University and studied Elementary Education. She has her 90-hour and School Age certification. She has preschool experience as well as running her own in-home day care for 7 years. Her mother was a teacher and it has been a life long dream of hers to be a teacher. Her goal is to provide a safe learning environment for the children to learn. Her favorite children’s book is The Very Hungry Caterpillar. Her favorite children’s song is “1,2,3,4,5 Once I caught a fish alive.”

• Angela

  Ms Angela joined The Goddard Team in July 2012. She has been working with children of all ages for over 20 years but her heart is in Pre-kindergarten. She enjoys preparing young minds for what they will face as they begin their journey in kindergarten. She is married, and has three children. Her family moved to Maryland in 2000, and after a life of military moving can finally call someplace home. Ms Angela enjoys music, crafts, photography, and football. She enjoys her time here at Goddard, and hopes to form a great connection with the many wonderful families that are a part of the school.

• Ashlyn

  Ms. Ashlyn joined The Goddard School family April 2021. She has her 90 hour Preschool Certification and is currently at FSU finishing her degree in Sociology. Her goal at our school is to help the children develop new skills. She loves working with children and watching them learn and grow.

• Chloe

  Ms. Chloe has been a part of the Goddard family since February 2022. She graduated from Flagler College in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology where she also obtained her 90-hour preschool certification. She has always had a passion for working with children and love being a part of their learning journey! Chloe's favorite part about teaching preschool is watching how much they grow and learn in such a short period of time! When she is not working you can find her and Marcy walking through quiet waters or any dog trails we can find. Her favorite children’s book is “The Sneetches” by Dr. Seuss and her favorite game to play with the class is Simon says!

• Elisabeth

  Mrs. Lis joined The Goddard Family in July 2023. She grew up in Buffalo, NY, and received her B.A. in International Studies and French at Washington College. Ms. Lis fell in love with teaching when she started working as a substitute teacher at a Montessori School. Ms. Lis loves the Pre-K age because they are curious, funny, creative and energetic. She feels like she learns something new from them everyday! In her spare time Mrs. Lis enjoys walks with her husband, reading with her cats Bert and Bob, playing Dungeons and Dragons, and singing Jazz. Her favorite foods are German, Indian, and she loves tea. Go Bills!

• Faith

  Ms. Faith joined The Goddard Team February 2021. She has her 90 hour Preschool Certification and has worked in the Early Childhood field since 2017. Her goal at our school is to be the best teacher she can be and wants to help children learn, grow, and build relationships. Ms. Faith enjoys spending time with her family/friends and is an outdoor girl! She loves hiking, fishing and hunting!

• Gaby

  Ms. Gaby has 3 years of lead teaching experience. She has been working with kids since she was 16 years old. Ms. Gaby loves working with kids because they help her express her own playfulness and creativity. They also let her show her curiosity and have unique adventures with the children every day. She loves all of the unpredictable moments that kids have and hopes that she can help shape their minds. Ms. Gaby loves collecting tumbler cups and crocs. She also loves going on adventures with her niece and nephew!

• Hannah

  Hannah joined The Goddard Family in June 2021. She has her Bachelors Degree in Social Work, is a certified Behavioral Health Professional and has her 90 hr Preschool Certification. Ms. Hannah loves the sense of humor children have as well as their eagerness to learn each and everyday. Hannah is from the great state of Maine. She enjoys playing sports such as volleyball and softball and is a huge New Orleans Saints fan. She loves to travel and explore news places as well as stay in and read a good book!

• Jacqueline

  Jackie joined The Goddard Family in February 2022. She has been working in Early Childhood Education since 2018 and is currently taking classes towards her degree in ECE. She loves being able to support a child in their journey to become independent. Being there to supply the tools for them to problem solve with their peers is a goal she has in the classroom. Ms. Jackie is very talented and loves to sew and make stuffed animals as well as draw cartoons!

• Lenae

  Ms. Lenae joined The Goddard Family November 2021. She has her 90hr Preschool Certification and has been working in Early Childhood Education since 2016. Ms. Lenae enjoys working with our children in PS2. She loves how the children keep everything new, fun, and exciting. They are all so different and imaginative. She is a collector of comic books and you will often find her curled up with a good book!

• Leslie

  Ms. Leslie joined The Goddard Family in November 2021. She has been teaching since about 2018 and is continuing her journey in the Early Childhood Education field. Her favorite part about teaching is watching the children achieve developmental milestones. You can find her cooking, shopping, or going for walks in the summer.

• Madisyn

  Madisyn’s goal at The Goddard School is to be able to grow and learn professionally through experiences working with children. She has her Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and Special Education and has her 90-hour preschool and 45hr Infant/Toddler Certification. She decided to become a teacher because she has always had a passion for kids and loves to help them learn. She wants to be able to set a foundation for the children’s education. Her favorite children’s book is Dr. Seuss Books. Her favorite children’s song is “Old MacDonald had a Farm”

• Samantha

  Ms. Sam became an Early Childhood Educator because she wants to be the teacher that makes learning fun, the teacher that children are always happy to see, and the teacher who makes students feel safe, comfortable, and included in their classroom. She has a genuine love for children and deeply enjoys being a part of their developmental and educational journey. Ms. Sam has over 11 years of experience working with children from babysitting, nannying, and working in a child care center. She has worked with ages 6 weeks to school age and is going on her third year of being a Pre-Kindergarten teacher. Ms. Sam received her Diploma from Arundel High School and attended AACC for Early Childhood Education. Sam is currently pursuing her Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education. Her favorite children's books are "Dragons Love Tacos" and "Jack and the Beanstalk". Ms. Sam cannot narrow her favorite children's song down to just one and incorporates music into every aspect of her classroom.

• Angie

  Ms. Angie joined The Goddard Family in May 2023. Ms. Angie graduated from the University of Rochester with her BA in Psychology and Health & Behavior and Society. She also completed her 90 hour Preschool certification. Ms. Angie loves the Pre-K age because our their imagination and creativity. She enjoys teaching them about the world around them and making an impact in their lives each day! Ms. Angie enjoys photography and trying all types of different foods. She is looking forward to traveling all around the world!

• Ethan

  • Mr. Ethan joined The Goddard Family in October 2021. He is an Arundel High School graduate and is currently attending Anne Arundel Community College for an Associate's in Business Administration. Mr. Ethan loves working with the School Age children because they are joyful, funny, and independent. He enjoys how they have such strong personalities and he loves watching them work together to overcome challenges! He hopes to facilitate a fun and engaging environment for them. Mr. Ethan loves playing video games, exploring new places, and eating sushi! He is a huge fan of Pokémon!

• Jennifer

  She is thrilled to be a part of The Goddard Family and wants to learn more about children and give them the knowledge that she has obtained with her many years of working with children. She has 17 years of experience working with children. She is high school graduate and has a few credits form Rutgers university. Ms. Jennifer enjoys working with children because it is rewarding to help nurture, guide and mold them into little leaders that they can be. Her favorite children’s book: Chicka Chicka Boom Boom. Her favorite children’s song is “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.”

• Samantha

  • Ms. Samantha has been with The Goddard Family since March 2023. She is currently studying Child Psychology and Early Childhood Development. She has her 90 hour Preschool Certification. Ms. Samantha has a magical time helping the children learn social and emotional skills that will lead them to live full and meaningful lives. She loves watching them learn what they love and how they express themselves! Ms. Samantha loves making up songs about pretty much everything! In her free time she enjoys creating digital collages, spending time in nature, and telling jokes to lighten up the mood. When she was a child, she was featured on a healthy cooking show and is featured in their commercials in Hawaii to this day!

• Samariya

  Ms. Samariya joined The Goddard Family in July 2021. She graduated high school and has volunteered at many different child care centers. She has been surrounded by kids her whole life. She wanted to volunteer to work with kids as soon as she was old enough. Her favorite part about working with kids is doing art with them and the smiles on their faces. Her favorite children's movies are The Princess and the Frog and Lilo & Stitch

• Sarah

  Ms. Sarah joined The Goddard Family August 2022. She has taken child development classes through South River High School. She is currently working towards her AA degree in Architecture and Interior Design. Ms. Sarah has always wanted to teach young kids because of how important their brain development is at that age. Ms. Sarah is new to the field of child care but has already enjoyed bonding with children in each class. Her favorite children's song is The Bumblebee Song. Her favorite children's book is Brown Bear.

• Stevie

  Mr. Stevie joined The Goddard Family in December 2022. He graduated from Southern High School. Mr. Stevie always wanted to be a math teacher growing up. He is new to the child care field and is looking forward to being able to educate and watch the next generation of children blossom and further their growth. He plans to continue educating and is excited to be a part of The Goddard Family. Mr. Stevie's favorite children's book is The Pout Pout Fish. His favorite children's song is The Goldfish by Laurie Berkner.

• Denise

  Ms. Denise became a teacher's aide because she loves interacting with children and watching them grow and develop their individual personalities. Her goal at The Goddard School is to encourage children and make a difference in their lives. Ms. Denise is a devoted mom and grandmother. She attended Mayfield High School in London, UK and Duffs Business College in Kingston, JA. Her favorite children's book is "The Three Little Pigs" and her favorite children's song is "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star".

• Jodi

  Ms. Jodi has been working with children for over 20 years ages infants through preschool. She has always loved working with young children and wants to make a positive difference in each child's life and instill a love for learning. She has her Associates degree. Her favorite book is "Are you my mother?". Her favorite children's song is "The wheels on the bus".
