My husband and I are parents of two children and recognize the importance of a safe and nurturing learning environment. I am happy to be able to provide Goddard's outstanding program to the children in the community. I have earned my Bachelor's Degree in Home Science from S.N.D.T University of Mumbai with a major in Textiles and Clothing and minor in a number of fields including Early Childhood Development. Also, I have earned the State of Maryland Certification in Early Childhood Development. My experience with children comes from having children of my own, operating my own childcare business in my home for over a decade. I am excited and proud to be a part of The Goddard School and am committed to providing the highest quality preschool experience for the children in the neighborhood.
Ms. Carin is our Director of Operations and has been at The Goddard School of Gambrills for over 2 years. She started as a part-time teacher in our preschool and school-age program and created and implemented our 2020 STEAM based summer program. She was previously employed as a Special Education/Behavior Support Technician for Anne Arundel County Public Schools. She has an B.S. in Psychology and an M.S. in Applied Behavior Analysis and has many years of experience working with children in early childhood education, primary and intermediate schools, and special education. Ms. Carin has two daughters and loves to read, write, cook, be outdoors, and spend time with family and friends.
Ms. Kelly’s goal at The Goddard School is to provide a positive environment for children, parents and coworkers. She is currently working towards getting her Degree in Business Management & has her 90-hour preschool and 45-hour infant/toddler certifications. Her favorite children’s book is The Day the Crayons Quit. Her favorite children’s song is “Can’t stop the Feeling.”
Mrs. Saudhi has proudly served as the Assistant Director at The Goddard School for the past 8 years. My journey here began as a Pre-School teacher, where I discovered the joy of guiding young children through their early learning experiences. I studied at Bowie State University to for Elementary education and have dedicated much of my career to nurturing young minds both in the classroom and in my own in-home daycares, which I owned and operated for many years. One of my greatest passions is watching children grow through hands on learning, curiosity, and play. Mrs. Saudhi is fluent in Spanish and shares her passion for the language biweekly through our ‘Spanish with Mrs. Saudhi’ sessions.
Ms Angela joined The Goddard Team in July 2012. She has been working with children of all ages for over 20 years but her heart is in Pre-kindergarten. She enjoys preparing young minds for what they will face as they begin their journey in kindergarten. She is married, and has three children. Her family moved to Maryland in 2000, and after a life of military moving can finally call someplace home. Ms Angela enjoys music, crafts, photography, and football. She enjoys her time here at Goddard, and hopes to form a great connection with the many wonderful families that are a part of the school.
Ms. Ashlyn joined The Goddard School family April 2021. She has her 90 hour Preschool Certification and is currently at FSU finishing her degree in Sociology. Her goal at our school is to help the children develop new skills. She loves working with children and watching them learn and grow.
Ms. Chloe has been a part of the Goddard family since February 2022. She graduated from Flagler College in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology where she also obtained her 90-hour preschool certification. She has always had a passion for working with children and love being a part of their learning journey! Chloe's favorite part about teaching preschool is watching how much they grow and learn in such a short period of time! When she is not working you can find her and Marcy walking through quiet waters or any dog trails we can find. Her favorite children’s book is “The Sneetches” by Dr. Seuss and her favorite game to play with the class is Simon says!
Ms. Gaby has 3 years of lead teaching experience. She has been working with kids since she was 16 years old. Ms. Gaby loves working with kids because they help her express her own playfulness and creativity. They also let her show her curiosity and have unique adventures with the children every day. She loves all of the unpredictable moments that kids have and hopes that she can help shape their minds. Ms. Gaby loves collecting tumbler cups and crocs. She also loves going on adventures with her niece and nephew!
Jackie joined The Goddard Family in February 2022. She has been working in Early Childhood Education since 2018 and is currently taking classes towards her degree in ECE. She loves being able to support a child in their journey to become independent. Being there to supply the tools for them to problem solve with their peers is a goal she has in the classroom. Ms. Jackie is very talented and loves to sew and make stuffed animals as well as draw cartoons!
Madisyn’s goal at The Goddard School is to be able to grow and learn professionally through experiences working with children. She has her Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and Special Education and has her 90-hour preschool and 45hr Infant/Toddler Certification. She decided to become a teacher because she has always had a passion for kids and loves to help them learn. She wants to be able to set a foundation for the children’s education. Her favorite children’s book is Dr. Seuss Books. Her favorite children’s song is “Old MacDonald had a Farm”
Ms. Sam became an Early Childhood Educator because she wants to be the teacher that makes learning fun, the teacher that children are always happy to see, and the teacher who makes students feel safe, comfortable, and included in their classroom. She has a genuine love for children and deeply enjoys being a part of their developmental and educational journey. Ms. Sam has over 11 years of experience working with children from babysitting, nannying, and working in a child care center. She has worked with ages 6 weeks to school age and is going on her third year of being a Pre-Kindergarten teacher. Ms. Sam received her Diploma from Arundel High School and attended AACC for Early Childhood Education. Sam is currently pursuing her Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education. Her favorite children's books are "Dragons Love Tacos" and "Jack and the Beanstalk". Ms. Sam cannot narrow her favorite children's song down to just one and incorporates music into every aspect of her classroom.
She is thrilled to be a part of The Goddard Family and wants to learn more about children and give them the knowledge that she has obtained with her many years of working with children. She has 17 years of experience working with children. She is high school graduate and has a few credits form Rutgers university. Ms. Jennifer enjoys working with children because it is rewarding to help nurture, guide and mold them into little leaders that they can be. Her favorite children’s book: Chicka Chicka Boom Boom. Her favorite children’s song is “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.”
Mr. Stevie joined The Goddard Family in December 2022. He graduated from Southern High School. Mr. Stevie always wanted to be a math teacher growing up. He is new to the child care field and is looking forward to being able to educate and watch the next generation of children blossom and further their growth. He plans to continue educating and is excited to be a part of The Goddard Family. Mr. Stevie's favorite children's book is The Pout Pout Fish. His favorite children's song is The Goldfish by Laurie Berkner.
Ms. Denise became a teacher's aide because she loves interacting with children and watching them grow and develop their individual personalities. Her goal at The Goddard School is to encourage children and make a difference in their lives. Ms. Denise is a devoted mom and grandmother. She attended Mayfield High School in London, UK and Duffs Business College in Kingston, JA. Her favorite children's book is "The Three Little Pigs" and her favorite children's song is "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star".
Ms. Jodi has been working with children for over 20 years ages infants through preschool. She has always loved working with young children and wants to make a positive difference in each child's life and instill a love for learning. She has her Associates degree. Her favorite book is "Are you my mother?". Her favorite children's song is "The wheels on the bus".
